Hugh and Sue (a-stride of the water(s))

I think I also once encountered that same corplent man of the cloth, enjoying a "slap-up" earley morning breakfast,(surrounded by a multitude of various dishes,) in a Soho Cafe (London),July 1987, Kingley street, just behind a famous toy shop)
he advised me..
"My son, -gulp-
you can lead a horse to water*, -gulp, gulp, gulp
but never, -gulp
ever, -burp
egg on toast."

*( and a pencil must be lead)

My wife and I abide by that rule ever since,
good night
