Subject: Tragedy and Sympathy

We were all horrified at the news as it broke yesteday. Our thoughts go out the the families and friends of those killed and hurt by those ghastly attacks.

Jane and I visited the World Trade Centre during our visit to New York in January this year and our sense of devastation is overwhelming; we feel very much for everyone there. I have friends and colleagues in both New York and over the USA and our prayers are with them all.

I hope that you and all your family and friends are safe and well.
