dear fellow metrosexuals,

many of you may already know of me as the explosive young super sub for university reserve grade, but now i wish to, and do feel it is time to reveal a lighter (more femine if you will) side to myself that the general public are largely unaware of. I have for a number of years been a keen follower and even (at times) participant in male cheerleading. i now have a furious passion for the art of male cheerleading, in fact i no longer go to bed at night dreaming about passing and kicking a footy but rather the thrusting and twirling of a pair of pom poms, i used to watch 'rocky' before a game in order to psych myself up but now i find myself watching 'Bring it on'. it concerns me greatly that there is a distinct lack of males in the cheerleading ranks in australia and i wish to urge all young males who are fond of rhythm, dance and catchy chants to join me in our fight for equal opportunity in the cheerleading world.

This weekend i shall not be playing (due primarily to my horrific facial injury and a severve case of hyperchondria) but making my first of bold stances and performing a small but meaningful dance of my own at half time in the uni books reserve grade match. If you turn up Please do not mock me... because it hurts my feelings...alot.

Afterwards i will be holding a fundraiser for the University male cheerleading appreciation society(UMCAS). I it will involve a kissing booth but instead of kissing my lips you get to plant one on each of my biceps (i figure i get to kiss them all the time why shouldn't you).

See you on sunday

Yours rhythmically
Misha Zelinsky
