 I have watched with interest the comments about the IDRL not acknowledging this site.

Their continued attitude is simply quite amazing. I would have thought that the information contained on the site - the comments and feedback from fans of the Illawarra League - would leave them with no other viable option other than to promote the site, whole heartedly. The more interest in the game in the Illawarra would only result in more patrons, better coverage from local newspapers and radio stations - more promotions for the sponsors, particularly Tooheys, I guess just simply better advertising of the local game.

Fans could only hope that this matter should be soon sorted out. If support is available from the teams the likes of Thirroul Port and the Cougars - why can't persusion from those clubs be brought to bear upon the IDRL so that this matter can be put behind us - the site can be supported and mentioned in the local program and a good working relationship commence between the League, Teams and the Web of Steel.

I would be interested to see what others think, and obviously if there are any comments forthcoming from Local Team's executives and the League's executive.

C'mon - aren't we all hoping for the best for the game in the District.
