 Just to set the record straight Smokey was leading the way quite clearly during last years Mad Monday Dash, until the greatest racing fiasco since the Fine Cotton ring-in took place. Smokey was paying handsome odds that day but unfortunately he had been tainted by two corrupt bookmakers, and unfortunately for the punters "tripped" at the fifth furlong with the line in sight.
The only cleaner pair of heals that day were those of "Jumbo" and "Robbie" making off with the days takings.
