Dear Rick, Let me respond. How dunb must you think we are, statting that PKC folded because it poured so much money into Port Kembla RLFC. The real casualty of this is undoubtly the workers, no one denies that and in no way where they implied in any other way, secondly Port Kembla RLFC stands to lose as im sure you guys are now eperiencing, though unquestionably you will survive. My gripe is directed at PKC and more probably the upper extensions of its management structure and in this case its gamble to make itself active in the community ( ie. supporting the blacks)to produce good light on its company, and hence hopefully gain greater community support. It's closure is my problem, and the burdon it will place on associations left with out is support. Sending its retrenched workers to a free game of footy is not an ideal or acceptable form of thank you or closure and one hopes it is able to fullfill its stated obligations to all.Good luck there at Port.
