With the latest on the Bulls saga hitting the papers yesterday it seems that "Bull paid in full" is due to eat some very humble pie.
But don't despair yet "Bull paid in full", the rumour is that the loyal players will accept a pay cut and play for the enjoyment, club loyalty and to be with their mates. Now that would leave them with...hmmmm...let me see - about 3 first grade players and no coach.
How things come back to bite you on the arse!
I can still remember during last years pre season when unsubstantiated rumours were flying about re Thirroul not paying players. I'll leave it to your imagination where they were coming from.
So the plan was - go and buy a team of henchmen, get your arse kicked by the Butchers in one of the finest displays of Rugby League I have seen in the Illawarra and come up with ......wait for it.....a big wog salami!! Very Intelligent.
The only good thing to come out of this is the reappointment of Mark Haigh.

PS. Wasn't it nice to see the article re the coach leaving straight under the one that basically said the bulls were in financial difficulties. Didn't sound like the captain deserting the sinking ship at all. No....not much.
