Date Posted: 18:07:17 02/25/04 Wed With their second sevens title behind them, the Butchers' form in the Country Cup shall give some guide as to their chances of backing up for a second straight Tooheys League title. Their main rivals will be Dapto as usual, but the other challengers are looking shaky. Port have such a huge turnover it will be hard to win from round one, something that will be needed for a vital top-two finish. Only the most diehard Bulls fan can expect to see them in the finals again this year after their player exodus. The Butchers main challenge may come from outside last year's finals, with Wests, Uni and Collies all looking to enter the top four in 2004. It makes for a very interesting season, especially if the 'Burgh and Corrimal can post some upsets. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
