This was mostly due to the fact that they never paid much in the first place and never had to pay many win bonuses. They simply overcommitted due to outstanding debts from 2002 that weren't initially taken into consideration as they weren't outlined to those recruiting players for the 2003 season. About $20,000 is owed to players and coaches from 2003 who trusted that it would be paid at season end. They still hold hope and trust that the Bulls, when ready, will honour their committed effort in taking the club to a whole new level last year.
