I cant believe that Wests have gone from spending $100 000 in '94 or whatever year it was to compete in the metro cup, to a situation where they have refused to bolster their squad from last year. The Devils are only a couple of players short of a grand final team and a couple of signings from the $8 million revenue would have fixed the problem. Their support of soccer and the wolves is a joke, as if they had bought a couple of decent players their crowds would be on a par with the wolves for a fraction of the cost. Their website also sucks, you would not know that they have any association to rugby league, the sport that put them where they are today.
