 It appears that the formerly struggling Leigh Miners club are experiencing a real turn around in their fortunes. Insiders say that the arrival of import Aaron Beak has had a profound effect on the players, coaching staff and townsfolk. Those who have seen Beak weave his magic in the Carlton league know what he is capable of, however there has long been a question mark surrounding his discipline on and off the field. Leigh could well give the competition a real shake as long as Dennis Morans former understudy can curb his habitual drunkeness and womanising.
