The Mole has been hard at work over the weekend looking for some dirt to dig up on the two monkeys from the bulls, antony and sedgewick, to fire the boys up for what should be the best game this year.Both teams are in form and both have recently beaten premiers Dapto, and if memory serves me correctly, the bulls have never beaten the butchers? Is that right? Antony, the hairiest man in the tooheys league, will be fired up to have a good game against his former club, and will be licking his lips if Coach Jones names Mabo Mcnally as thirrouls halfback. Sedgewick, the man who always monkeys around and looks like a Angry Ape when fired up , will be out to show that he deserved a spot in the rep side, and remind thirrouls loyal fans of what they let go when the former Thirroul Junior and premiership winner with the club left of his own accord. On that note, im sure the butchers have a few tricks up there sleaves, Coach Jones will surely be fired up for a win and wont want to surrender there lead to the bulls.
Knuckles Grose is also primed to redeem himself for his off feild antics over the weekend which have earnt the big Front row/ Second row/ Centre/ Winger a fine and also the club has decided that Grose be put on an alcohol ban. Grose, usually a quiet and shy man, turns into a hissing, snarling monster after a few drinks. Groses manager, Louie Jones, also scoffed at rumours that the big man was being trained up by the blaster for a bout with Steve "The Macauleys Mauler" Woullett.
"No way" said the chunky Jones. " Woullett is not a man to mess with in the ring." " Woullett is an athlete, although he hasnt trained for months, would knock the stuffing out of my fat bastard, Knuckles is six months off a bout like that"
Knuckles has been seen trainning lately with sparring partner Claude "Butterbean" Green.
PREDICTION FROM THE MOLE:
A certain twig thin reserve grade player, who scored a try on the weekend in firsts, is on the verge of a first grade starting spot.
