Having read this and the final result in the morning Sunday paper, the Butcher's knew that a win over the Canaries, would not only leave them on top of the comp., but also leave them well placed for a major semi-final position on the table.

A very positive result against the defending premiers now leaves the Butcher's top of the table and with other sides now faultering, the Butcher's are now looking to prove that that the form showed in the Country Challenge Competition was spot on.

There are some concerns with information coming through that gun-centre Fuad, suffering an injury during the Country game in Qld puts some pressure on the back line, but having Ben Morgan making his come back and the solid performance of the back seven today against Dapto leaves the Country Champions looking pretty good to go all the way this year.

A week is a long time in football, but when you look at the season that has been, and the fact that the Butcher's are the only team to take six from three this year, alls looking well in the seaside suburb.
