The teams in the Illawarra League could live with it if decisions were consistent accross all games, week in week out - at least that way everyone would know how to "play the game". On the whole though, the refs have a tough job to do, and some unruly crowd behavour doesn't help the plot. What most spectators don't take into consideration is that these guys get abused week in week out - the kids watching the games see this - how are we expected to get more refs into the game when all they see is the refs getting abused every week - would you want that every week?? We sould give the refs a bit of a break, but the refs have to come to the party by copping some constructive criticism through the right channels as well.
