hear hear......its about time someone spoke out about the substabdard refereeing. i cast my mind back to the halycon days of the 80's when we had referees the calibre of Brian Kenehan, Michael Taylor and of course, the great Brett Matthews. This man has to be one of the greatest referees of our time and its my vote that we bring him back to the administration to really clear out the ranks of this administration. I cast my mind back to the 1984 grand final which Brett Matthews ran the lines for before he plucked into the big time. It was poetry in motion watching this graceful creature prancing the sidelines.
Not only does this man have a great knowledge of the game but he brings his own iconical wisdom and charisma to the game that is very much lacking in todays refereeing ranks.
