Yeah, fair comment, but I'm not sure all the whingers are players, which makes it worse..... Avondale have made application to join reserve grade regularly over the last few years. They've complied with all the criteria, even as far as to find a junior team not affiliated with the Dapto Juniors (they had none to spare!)only to have a bloke and a couple of his puppets in town move the goalposts again and again. They are as keen to leave 'CUB CUP' as much as the rest of the teams are to see them go. Why not give them a chance and see if they do what everyone is waiting for, which is to fall flat on their faces. Why not?...Because there's at least one or two very insecure persons at the 'other club' that are concerned about a mass exodus of reserve grade local players should it happen. It is known that two high profile members sons have had an Avondale shirt on over the last couple of seasons... That's gotta hurt. Hopefully they won't stoop any lower than to tell a retired player he can't coach his young blokes Junior Dapto team if he persists in running the water for Avondale...To Windang and Norths this weekend, should be good. Have fun and good luck.
