The diatribe in the "group 7 sucks" posts against Mick Blattner is woeful. Blattner has been a leading player of a 90 year old competition that has been a stepping stone to a quality lifestyle for many people who had no means to achieve the type of income that rugby league can offer in any other way. Countless players have gone from group 7 to have very good careers.
Mick Blattner left a comfortable position to take a big risk in helping Berry back into the comp and should be commended for it, not be the victim of cowardly attacks.
