It is not typical at all, candy bar was pioneering helping create a shift in the perception of gay women both in the commercial world and on the gay scene. You need to get up to speed girl, even cosmo had 'lipstic lesbian' and 'lesbian chic' about two years ago. I hardly think a gay bar in the middle of soho would be behind that. I think the girl that got thrown out has misunderstood the reasons why.
