I am Alex’s girlfriend,

I have read the replies and feel Alex did not miss the point of why she was asked to leave. Hmm, also although the cb is a land mark, it is not single handily responsible for a break through in lesbian rights!!

The straight couple that were with her, felt victimise -YES, I hear you all screaming, as lesbians we are victimised in straight environments!!!! But this is not the way forward. We all have friend comprising of different ethnic origin/sex/gay/straight and should be allowed to mixed in any surroundings we choose to as a group.

My gay male friends will not come to the candy bar with me because they believe there is an attitude towards man and straight people. Each time we have been, I have had to mediate between staff and my male friend, just to keep the peace and try to enjoy the evening.

Maybe the cb motto should be 'if your face fits then come in'
