Date Posted: 11:32:42 12/19/02 Thu Everthing in our environment suggests that we have free will and do excercise it regularly. To what purpose? To make choices, which lead to consequences, which become our reality. There is a direct line of progress between our thoughts and our destiny. While it may appear at times that we are merely victims of outside forces, to succumb to those "forces" is most often our choice. To draw events to our experience is more than merely possible - It is probable, even when those experiences are of an unpleasant nature. Yet, the collective consciousness that we operate in bombards us with messages that suggest just the opposite. If you have any doubts about that being so, just tune into the evening news and somewhere in the program will be a warning about what we should fear. Herein lies the ultimate instrument of control, a power we constantly surrender to those we recognize as being superior in some fashion. In truth, when it comes to experiencing our reality, we have the edge - even though we fail to exercise our "free will" too much of the time.
