it u give some market medicin and ur dog already has heart worms....it will kill all the worms and clog your dogs heart...and there by causing a heartatack...take the dog to the vet....thats my opinion...but if your shure the dog dose not have heartworm...the folks arround here use IVOMEC (im not a vet so u have to check arround...but thats what i use...and everybody elese i hunt with....)to prevent heartworm...but again if u give this medicin to the dog when it has heart worm it will kill the animal.
