Hi Mark

To answer your question, when you take a driving test if you are disabled it is basically the same test as an able bodied person. The only difference is you can get an extended test for the extra time it takes to get in and out of the car and to explain to the examiner your controls and transmission of the car. The actual driving part of the test is exactly the same as it is for anyone.

If you want to learn to drive my advice would be to get your own car under the Motability scheme and get a proper good instructor to teach you.
