Subject: Stock Show Parade

I regret to inform the interested parties of the OCG that we will not participate in the parade this year.
At the inception of the OCG, we all aagreed that we would not schedule anything that conflicted with the 9th Texas. I didn't know until the last few weeks that the first drill would be on the same weekend. I was hoping that the 9th would maybe do the drill in the form of the parade, but haven't heard anything back. I guess the lines of communication got crossed. We will however be there next year. If you guys have any questions, please let me know. I had to make this decision based on the fact that 80% of the OCG are members of the 9th.
Thank you for the past year of dedications. We will have several this year, some already in the planning stage.
