Subject: February 28th Ceremony

Gentlemen,

The Otder of Confederate Gray will provide the Guard of Honor for the late Gene Kinsey at the ceremony in his honor set for Saturday, February 28th, at 12:00 noon. The place will be the Reenactment grounds for the Raid on Camp Ford in Van, Texas.

Directions from D/FW: Go East on I 20; take the Highway 110 exit; go South about 2 miles, watch for a church on the right; just past the church, turn right onto gated dirt road; watch for flags. Follow dirt road thru hayfield to the site.

1st Sgt. Ben Hatch and I will be among others that will camp at the grounds on Friday, February 27th. If you wish to camp out, bring your or bedding. I will set up my tent fly for shade and for any who have no tent to sleep under.
Refreshments will be available after the ceremony.

Dress: Black, red, or Tartan sash, white gloves. Headgear can be slouch hat, kepi, bummer, glengarry or tahm. The contact for this event is 1st Sgt. Ben Hatch at 682-367-6384, or ironcladcaptain79@yahoo.com.

Gentlemen, this is a sad duty that we were formed to do from necessity and called to do from conviction in our hearts. Please join me in honoring this man whom God has called home, and in serving his family in this effort. I hope to see you there.
