Greetings and Salutations,

I trust all had a very Merry Christmas, and I pray the New Year brings nothing but blessings to all of you.

Barry Turnage has been promoted to 2nd Sgt. We have several new men in ranks and other promotions will soon follow.

Upcoming events this year includes a marker dedication for Pvt. James Monroe Biffle, Co. H, 12th Texas Infantry in Whitney, Texas; Southern Cross dedication for Pvt. Daniel Crockett Bates, Co. B, 10th Texas Cavalry in Brownwoods, Texas; and last but not least the dedication of four Confederate markers for four of my Great Great Uncles buried in the family cemetery in MT. Enterprise, Texas. Two of them are memorials, as the remains are in the mass grave at Murfreesboro. I will post the dats of these events as soon as they are set. This is just a heads-up that we have a few things coming.
