Subject: Blackland Cemetary & Juneteeth Recruiting effort...

Felicitations! & Howdy! to all!

WOW! I echo, 2nd Lt.Furlow's sentiments! Blackland is being reclaimed an acre at a time... On that note..I want to say I have never seen people work harder, in the Texas heat and humidity than I did this past wkend. Texans have the yuwantto! We are gonna get this job done. Like we say here brang it! Poison oak, poison sumac and poison ivy have ravaged me and I am still suffering...but will go at it again, when orders are preferred.

I applaud the efforts of Mr. McNabb & Mr. Looney! on their recruiting efforts. We need to hone in on the historical research and recruiting efforts of our black Confederate soldiers. We need them as well. And the Ladies Society needs support from the OCG as well. Gentlemen, please urge your significant others to come and join us! We welcome them with open arms.

We will soon be conducting ladies period correct comportment classes in handkerchief and fan etiquette. Gentlemen are encouraged to attend to understand the language of the fan and hanky.
