Subject: Post Oak Dedication

Gentlemen,
This ceremony was astoundingly beautiful. I had never before seen the placing of the rifle at the grave, the tying of the black arm bands, the filing in and salute followed by filing back into the original line. The rifle volleys are, to me, a necessary and vital part of such a ceremony, but the additional ceremony we performed at the graveside raised the standards. My highest compliments to all of those who conceived such choreography, and to all you men there who collectively executed those details so well.

When the family is as pleased as they were Sunday, then we did it right boys. I'm as proud as ever to be in the Order!

To Honor and Serve,

Preston T. Furlow
