Gentlemen,

For any and all who wish to attend, there will be a marker dedication on Saturday, October 19, at the Bethel cemetery in Burnet, Texas. The ceremony will begin at 2:00 pm.

I will attend and will have an extra musket, so I can outfit one extra fellow that might not have one.

These will be markers dedicated in memorial for two men who died at Shiloh, and are buried in a mass Confederate grave. Up until now, they have had no marker that bore their names.

To get to the location, hit 281 South off of I-20. Take 281 into Burnet, and turn east on FM 963. Approximately 9 miles on FM 963, watch for cemetery sign. Turn north on Burnet county road 210, and you will immediately see the cemetery on your left.
