I have found that life is both events and memories. The event of the Wm. Newman memorial service has become the greatest memory to the Newman family. You gave our family great happiness on November,10th at Maypearl TX. Sunday we added William Newman as the 13th confederate veteran buried in the Maypearl cemetery. On the behalf of the Newman family, thank you. I personally want to thank every one for the sword I received from my fellow compatriots.I will have it properly engraved representing the event,
