Subject: New people on the SciFi board

You know, LaLinda, we are starting to get a lot more weirder people on that SciFi DS Board. First Bill Goldberg, now Barneybuss, plus a whole host of others. Where are all these people comming from? There are more people posting now than when the show on on the channel.

I see the Joel aids rumor is still floating around. I remember at the time people saying he died of cancer. The aids thing seems to be an after the fact story, which may be unfair to Joel since cancer treatments often leave people losing weight. Burt Reynolds was rumored to have aids decades ago because he dropped a lot of weight too. Turned out he had TMJ or something like that. After he gained the weight back the rumors stopped.

Yeah, it was sad about Data. But the actor Brent Spiner was a co-writer of the film, so he must have approved. Also, Spiner played a Date lookalike in the film as well, called B4 (get it--Before, because he was a prototype of Data). That means Spiner will have a role in another Trek film if they make it as B4. Shades of Dark Shadows, having the same actor play a different role in the same series. Another little bit of trivia, when we saw Spiner at a Star Trek Convention years ago he came off as a little gay, in fact my wife asked me if I thought he was gay. I said I didn't know. Someone asked him if he had a "significant other" and he answered no. Well, I just read that Spiner just had a child with a longtime girlfriend. Shows how people can misjudge people.
