Hard to believe that one year has passed since that awful day. It was very strange coming to work this morning. Lots of people here in D.C. took a day of leave so the Metro trains were only about half full. Some of the people from my office went to the Pentagon for the memorial ceremony but I decided not to go. I don't want to feel the same as I did when I attended the one last year. It was too sad to see, in person, the family members of those we lost.

I ask one thing of all of you, please remember all the military men & women from the various nations that are still having to deal with the aftermath of last year. September 11, 2001 didn't just change the face of America, it changed the face of the entire world.
