Hello everyone, "Psycho" back at ya with some more TBL updates. Here is how the NL fairs going into the 2003 TBL season:

A fast start last year, with a disappointing ending, the NL looks ready to bounce back in full force. With one of the more balanced lineups in the league, the NL features an offensive attack from both sides of the plate. Look for NL leadoff man, Joe Cardaccio, to keep the ball on the ground and use his tremendous speed to be a table setter for the sluggers of this team. NL manager Bryan Cobb feels like he got an absolute steal with Jonathan Cresci coming over from the AL in the draft. He plays a solid outfield, and has the potential to put up some heavy numbers in this lineup. Gary Lawrence has the potential to be an everyday player, but the question is the boy's desire to play. If he can find the competitive drive, look for a solid year out of this utility man. NL player/manager Bryan Cobb will have some ghosts to get past this year. After a bad 2002 draft, a poorly misplayed ball, and a ton of controversy about his health, this seasoned vet will have alot to prove. Look for the offensive numbers to only get better with a much improved, and a more potent offense surrounding him. Finally, perhaps one of the best defensive players this league has ever seen, Jim Orlando will have to be the anchor in the field. He's worked on his throwing and should be able to deliver the ball to first with much more confidence this year. After a mediocre year at the plate, the "age" of TBL should increase his production, as this team should do some damage throughout the regular season.

The NL has to be a solid favorite to win it all this year. The pitching is suspect, with the southpaw in Joe taking the Hill for the NL squad, but other than that, this team does not have many weaknesses.

Tune in next time for the report out of te FL camp.
