With the Season now only 2 months away here is the Associated Press Season Preview

FL
Matt Douglas eat, sleeps, breathes, and pisses TBL. He is by far the MVP of the League and carries the defending champs into what looks like a very promising season.

Greg Douglas should improve even more on his breakout year from last season and narrow the gap between him and his brother.

James Brown will continue to get under everybody's skin (including his own teammates) and produce clutch numbers. James is also steadily improving his game in the feild and is the most explosive player in TBL

Jared Nicastro starts off every season very slowly but always seems to reach his peak come playoff time. Jared must improve defensively if the FL wants to repeat.

Overall Grade- A
This team won it all last year and the other teams have not improved enough to stop them.

AL
Chris Niesz looks to have a bounce back year and is in the best shape of his life. If this team is going anywhere its gonna be on Niesz's back.

Rob Demarco can hit for power. What he can not do is feild. If Robby works on his feilding and on his performance in the clutch, he is a superstar, as for now he usually hurts his team more than he helps.

Richie Pagliario is the X factor for the AL. If he shows up he can play short and the AL has a good defense. If he doesnt the AL probably has the worst defense in TBL history. Word is Richie will be a no show next year.

Kevin Gaynor is in the worst shape of his life. He is way too Kool and has showed up to critical games under the influence of a "foreign substance". Kevin's attrocious defense at Shortstop must improve for the AL to have a chance next year.

Rollercoaster Moroney had the worst season of his irratic TBL career. I belive Sean will have a strong bounce back season but he must improve every asset to his game.

Overall- C
The AL has some woeful feilders and there will be many long innings for them next season.

NL
Bryan Cobb changed his style last year hitting for average instead of power. His managing has been questioned by his own players because he often puts his team in poor position to win (The Nick DeLuca incident). If Bryan can be a more conservative Manager the NL could give the FL a run for its money.

Joe Cardaccio is known to have "the curse" for never winning a TBL Championship. With Joe's speed you can automatically give him a .400 average at least. If he keeps the ball on the ground he can hit .600 but unfortunately he pops up alot and that is the cause of his struggles. He also must learn not to get scared.

Jim Orlando might be the most talented player in TBL. Jim is an early favorite for MVP but the lesson he must learn is to throw the ball TO the 1st baseman not THROUGH the 1st baseman. If Jim can apply better throwing to his spectacular feilding than he will win the gold glove.

Jon Cresci is in the worst shape of his life partying it up at TCNJ. He is one of the most talented players in TBL but often makes poor decisions in the feild, on the basepaths, and does not hit well in the clutch. As the games go on you can see Cresci's performance decline.

Gary Lawrence was once the 2nd overall pick of TBL. Last year his performance was woeful, popping up to 1st base at least 60% of his at bats. Gary did prove he is an excellent 1st baseman and if he learns to pull the ball he can regain his top form.

Overall- B
The NL has alot of talent but does not know how to use it. Joe gets scared, Jim and Gary lose their temper, and Cresci makes poor plays in the feild while Cobb makes poor decisions as a manager. If they can overcome their mental lapses the NL will be right alongside the FL but if they do not expect another late season collapse.

Predictions
Regular Season
1. NL
2. FL
3. AL

Playoffs
FL over the NL in 7
