Steel Legs reporting here from Scoop johnson's bedroom, to bring you all the latest on the AL,NL, and CL as we head into this 2004 season.
AL-It looks like it's put up or shut up this year for manager chris niesz and his AMerican League. with only one championship in 5 years, and failing to rally the troops for a final 10th game of the season resulting in them missing the playoff's, team owner "AL Queda" was quoted as saying " last year was a terrible dissapointment, but thats all in the past and i have all the confidence in the world this year with chris, and the money we have spent on our free agents this season." the free agents hes speaking of? AL management had the chance to pull the trigger and sign Mathew doug douglas. His second stint with the AL, Douglas couldnt be happier. when asked about this upcoming season douglas had this to say..."let me tell you something, the twin towers are back, theres no stopping us now pal, i cant waiiiit to see my stats at the end of the year" AL also had the chance to sign 3time champion Jared Nicastro. Nicastro will not only bring blazing speed to the AL, but also a veteran bat. Joe Cardaccio coming off his first championship with the NL looks to bring speed and a lot of crying to the AL line-up. also there is James brown, which will give the AL undoubtedly the best outfield in the league. and then there is doofus, looking to bring his smile and good looks to the field.the AL had a great spring training and look to carry it over to the aseason. AL has done a lot of good moves this season, adding douglas gives them the bats,nicastro expierence, cardacio speed, brown fielding.

NL-Manager Cobb and the rest of the National Lauge Owners are feeling very good about themselves after last years game 7 blow out of the FL. it was there 3rd championship in 5 years, and spent 10mill less then the FL and AL in salary last year. what they have to look forward to this year? Back again for his 3rd season, and last of his contract is Jim "Blackbeard" Orlando. coming off another gold glove season Orlando has been rumored to have had an awful off-season. reports of a gambling problem, resulting in an ass beaten a couple of weeks ago in A.C. have him questionable for Saturdays season opener. when approached with this orlando wearing dark sunglasses said "Nah i feel good, ive been working on my swing and just look to get my average up this year" THanx JIM! after winning another championship NL owner "Dick Pussy Fart" decided to finally give Cobb some money to spend. early August the National League Landed Cy young winner Greg douglas. THe NL feels Greg has all the right tools and is really ready to bust out into a star this year. Back again is Jon Cresci, With his oatmeal chest and broccoli head this character gives everyone a nice laugh. but he brings a big bat, his downside is he has no hustle and look for manager cobb to be on his ass for that. Robby "Big Drawers" Demarco is alongside for another run at the title this year as well. Big drawers has always been solid at the plate, but regarded as one of the worst in the field by his pears Robby got defensive when told about the rumors " What the FUCK?!?! oh i didnt no everyone was A-rod, go fuck ur selves" Manager cobb should have a talk with him. Nl also has another cy young winner to the cast this year in sean moroney. MO looks to bring his famous arch ball and stinky balls to the club this year. As far as manager cobb has been, rumors have it that since they have won the championship he celebrated way to often back in October- January, Reports had him back in the TBL substance abuse program. when asked about it cobb said" Sure i had a couple nights of drinking. Hell we won the Tennis ball League Championship, you gotta go nuts ya no, its a long off-season...Ive been training real hard since february and look to bring the NL and its fans the 4th championship and make us a dynasty and first team to go back to back.. BC BC BC BC!" WOW! NL had a terrible spring training going 0-2 but never had there full squad in either games, Manager Cobb and douglas looked fresh and ready to go, Cresci looked slugish and a little stupid. Theyve added a nice addition with greg douglas and cresci jim and cobb are all solid players, with moroney and big D in the cast as well. but will it be enough to repeat?

CL- I dont no a goddamn thing about them. until they show me and the rest of my reporters something they recieve an "F" from me
