Hi, folks, this is Bart's twin brother Holomew (Hol to my friends and Bart's.) Bart has asked me to let you know that he is away for a few days (more secret stuff, boring, boring!) and to stand in for him with his correspondence. And before you all rush to say it, yes, I know, I don't write in fonee - I left that behind a long time ago when I won the scholarship to Harvard (the professors didn't take too kindly to having to translate my philosophy papers before they could mark them). This is a bit of a sore point with me and Bart. He maintains I'm breaking with tradition, letting down the Galways, etc. etc. (yawn, yawn) but I just tell him I don't agree and after a while he gets tired and puts down the shotgun and slopes back to his "littul kottij." Anyway, any of you folks got anything interesting to impart? The only reason I've agreed to do this at all for Bart is that we were pretty close once (for nine months) and because I noticed a patch of something dark on that silly sheep Dolly when he got her up out of a hole on the hillside the other day. Bart said it was paint from his new "indor toylet," but I know oil when I see it. "Unforchunatlee" our "deer mudder" saw fit to leave the old homestead to Bart when she took that dive into the well, in lieu of his not having the brains to get to Harvard or even to the GIT (Galway Institute of Technology, for your information). So, listen, anyway, which one of you is the one with the "munny" that he keeps talking about? Not that Bart is interested in money, just in foreign coins. He says everything he wants he can get right where he is, that his needs are few. Just as well, looking at that ancient crone Molly and his neighbour Nasty. Anyway, if anyone of you fancies a real look at the lights of Dublin sometime, just give me a call. You'll find Bart is only a pale shadow of me.
