My dear Magnolya, I do sympathise with your sentiments regarding my brother. He can be a clumsy oaf at the best of times, but to think that he has upset a lady like yourself in such a manner makes my blood boil. May I be of some solace in your hour of annoyance? Bart and I may look alike, but that is where the resemblance ends. I hope that I may know how to handle a lady like yourself. I am of the opinion that a woman is like a thoroughbred filly and must be treated gently, with respect and a light but firm touch. May I hope at some time in the future to fill the place in your life which is so lacking the company of a gentleman of refined character?
