I live in a small town in oregon and almost every week end i go hiking and looking for sheds, but lately me and a buddy of mine have found what must be one of the best areas for elk sheds around the saddle mountian area. On one side of the hill it is buck hill where the bucks flock there like seagulls to a mcdonalds on the other is elk haven where the elk go there to what it looks like to purposly shed there antlers, Last weekend i found a nice 5 point antler and another 6 point , we probably would have found more but it was getting late and we had gotten there at 4 and we did not want to be caught in the freezing rain at night while we took the 3 mile hike back to my truck but im going back tomarrow and hope to find even more

We also plan to hit it after the elk come through again after march or so when almost most of there antlers should be off
