I went out in my favorite spot in Southern Wisconsin on February 1st to beat the other guys and also look for dead deer. I was about a half hour into my search and stumbled onto a beautiful dead 11 pointer which had been completely consummed by the coyotes. I'll never know his cause of death but I am 100% sure that I have both of his sheds from last year. The dead buck is very symmetrical, grossing 147 and netting 143. I boiled him out and peroxided the skull. It is on display with both sheds. I am new to this club but will submit photos for the newsletter. I didn't find any sheds. A buddy of mine looks in Northern Illinois and puts four hours in daily. He has found 18 already. he is retired so he has the time.
