Subject: wyoming shed hunting seasons Author: shedhead [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 14:23:58 09/17/02 Tue Wyoming F&G is talking about inacting a shed hunting season. The reasoning behind this is that with all the commercial shed hunting and antler prices being what they are people are going out and harrassing the wintering game herds. I am not against atv's but I do think that there is a time and place to use them. Pursuing game in the late winter and early spring in hopes that they will drop an antler is not the proper use. All this does is let the few bad apples give a bad name to all shed hunters. I know that this is a hot topic so lets try to keep a good name and use our atv's responsibly. There will be a public meeting in saritoga,wy sometime in Oct. concerning this subject. I encourage all to attend. I will post again when a date is set.
