I was out bow hunting in Missouri with my friend Les this past Sunday (Jan 5, 2002) and had a 130 class 10-pt. walk under my stand with only his left antler. I did not attempt to take the buck because he was missing an antler. However, what I did not know was that my friend Les was on the other side of the property holding the right shed in his hand! Les had spooked the buck walking to his stand. The buck jumped a fence, and the left antler fell off when he landed on the other side. Les simply walked walked over to the fence and picked up the antler. Meanwhile, that same buck walked right by my stand. I have a picture of the shed if anyone is interested.
