Couthen says, "Proof? Proof! Ha, I say! Ha! 'Tis a matter of faith not proof! Still, I heard much discussion of such theoretical matters before I was entombed for the long centuries in that darksome casket. Often, the Lords would forget that I, without ears, still can hear, and I listened well! I did not understand all that was said, but I understood enough! Truly I say these spires can be used to unleash awesome power to defend our homes, for I have had an eternity, or so it would seem, to think upon the matter and try to achieve enlightenment. All we need is the right ceremony to the correct ghastly entity of foulest night to set into motion grim abjurations to defend our might! Ahahahaha!"
