I think it will be important to let everyone learn the Conan rules before making that decision but I'm not only fine with it but would encourage it. In fact, I think it's entirely possible to scrap the entire d20 system and adventure in Inzeladun with the Conan rules.

A move like this would certainly change the tone of Inzeladun -- my experiences in Inzeladun have been largely epic in feel (the Gaowyn adventures being an exception), even at lower levels! And we releyed on magic and magical equiptment to be successful. Conan classes, with all of their stat boosts and amazing feats, placed into the standard D&D world would seem to be insanely overpowered -- but when one considers that magical items are very rare and magic itself is horribly corruptive, these changes are fitting to allow a high adventure feel. Regardless, there would be very little that a Conan style world could do against a Illithid invasion like the ones we seen!
