Hi Patsy,

Firstly I wanted to thank you for sharing your talent with us on “Days”. While I am a hopeless romantic and I loved all the “Kim and Shane” storylines, my favourite was when Kim became blind. In my earlier working life I was employed at Guide Dogs for the Blind and came into contact with many visually impaired people so I recognise you obviously put a great deal of work into making this storyline situation believable.

I was fortunate enough on a trip to the US (I live in Australia), in 1988 to visit the set of Days of Our Lives and meeting Charles and yourself was a big highlight of the entire tour I took.

Secondly I want to thank you sincerely for sharing parts of your personal story with us. As I share some of the situations – been there- done that - got the t-shirt. Actually I have lots of t-shirts – I collect them!!

While I have no words of wisdom for your current physical challenge, I can offer my support. I broke my leg and had a full cast for a while a couple of years ago and it took quite a few months to walk without a cane so I can fully appreciate the rehabilitation process.

Lastly it’s great to see even away from “Days” you have loyal fans, congratulations to everybody on this list – its great to join you! Hello to everyone and to Patsy – best wishes and blessings for 2003.

Susan
