I understand that privacy would prohibit a vet from discussing such cases with a third party however I think it is important that we all continue to learn as much as we can about what we are breeding with. I would appreciate if you could email me privately the two vets who have told you this so I can investigate it further. I believe part of the proper management of information to enthuisiasts is that it is correct and factual and I would be interested to learn more about what lines are possibly affected. Of course this can only be investigated with the owners permission. Do you know if there is any genetic testing for this?
