I found the new iron silk at BassPro and had it in a day. First thing I noticed was its dark green color. I mean unlike the big game - you can't see thru it. I noticed it casts great and is very low in memory. I tried to scuff it up a bit and then compared it to big game. The Iron Silk showed no signs of the wear vs the big game which did. All around good line for muddy water to stained water use. Also I noticed the line sizes were funny - 14 lb line was a .015" diameter. And the 17 lb was .016" diam ( no 15lb option ) . I liked the thought of using this line when I will be casting - when braided would not cast as well. I will still use braided when I flip or pitch into cover (docks-brush)
