Subject: NFL Week 17 (12-27-02) Best Bets

NFL Best Bet- from nycat WEEK 17 Dog is the Skull and Bones Buccaneers (+7) against the BEARS. Five Star Pro play. Tampa bay has won a statistically significant number of the games this season (73%) and despite QB Brad Johnson’s back injury should win outright against Chicago at home (3-4-0). Chicago’s Booker who has caught 93 passes so far this season for a mind boggling 12.5 yards per reception average is the windy cities biggest weapon and could keep it interesting for the home crowd.

JETS (1 ½) over the Packers. Packers have clinched their division and have injury concerns that favor the JETS. Favre’s NFL leading 26 touchdowns and the rushing of Green with 7 TD’s to his credit speaks volumes about the GB Red Zone game play.
Most of the Packer injuries are on the defensive side with the exception of Favre’s knee and ankle problems that need rest to heal properly. Brett is such a warrior he is highly likely to sport titanium knee brace and ankle tape. This one is nycat’s favorite game to watch on TV Sunday afternoon. If your working it’s on 77AM too. One Star for fun.

nycat, you did it again. I sent my dime for all your picks again. Week 17 Highlights: Bucs 15, Bears 0 and the JETS "Pounded" the Packers. I put twelve dimes on these two nycat. I tip my hat to your ESPecially gifted handicapping wizard Arthur Barbato. I'm glad to hear he is not moving to work at your Vegas rivals. Happy New Year! Stop by The Unicorn for grapefruit on me.
