Thank you NYcat! I read your post at harcoregaming.com"Warm weather birds were singing at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin 9/8/02 for the Packer's season opener. Temperature favored the Atlanta Falcons with the thermometer hovering at a record ( for a football game in Green Bay) 83 degrees. Ahman Green went out of the game with a dehydration cramp and was fed intravenously in the locker room for the next 20 minutes. Ahman returned with only half the fourth to be played. Green finished with 155 yards on 27 carries. Packers won but failed to cover (�7) vs Falcons. We suggested staying away from the spread and concentrate a couple of dimes on the Over/Under bet. Pre-game analysis of Denver indicated that the Broncos would need to slow things down against the Rams and focus on end runs so the pick of (Under) paid faired well with Denver winning 23-16. Jets lost to Buffalo but tied published nycat line.
Tonight Take the OVER bet and stay away from the spread. This past weekend we made Nebraska covering the spread our #1 college game pick. That is two weeks in a row for cash on the Huskers covering the line. We still have Nebraska as the Top Dog in college Football unlike most pre-season and updated lines. We picked Miami as #3 and Fl State as #4 in the pre-season."
I took the Over and took home the bacon! I will be back later this week to get the odds on football.
