To lose one�s life
Is already so bad
But to have it stolen so young
Is so awful it�s sad

Then to know that it�s coming
No matter how far
It hits your beliefs
Like you been hit by a car

You lose your direction
As you wonder how to cope
And doubts flood through your mind
But you can�t give up hope

So terribly cruel
Saying goodbye to your friends
Living each day
Thinking is this where it ends

Remembering the good times
Not that long ago
The smiles and the laughter
Where did they all go

Saying farewell to your family
And to those most dear
Hugging them warmly
And holding them near

Feeding them love
With each breath that you give
Feeling their love
As long as you live

Sharing their emotions
And sensing their fears
And no need for words
As you start to trade tears

There�s no easy way
For anyone to die
And there is no shame
When a man has to cry

For though I am going
To a heavenly place
I will find it hard
To keep a smile on my face

Cos I know I will miss you
And I cannot be here
But my soul will stay with you
And you have nothing to fear

But if you ever need me
Just close your eyes

In the air and the skies

So when my day comes
Please try not to be mad
And think only of good things
Like the great times we had

Think of my family
My friends and my wife
