Subject: Iron Maiden Show Last Night...

ok here's the review of the Iron Maiden show at Madison Square Garden last night:

Motorhead - Rule the suck. They were so bad it was unbelievable. They were so loud everything sounded shitty from the distortion, and they had no stage presence whatsoever. They could've put wax figures up there and played a Motorhead cd and it would have been much better. Except for their drummer, he was awesome.

Dio - I had very low expactations, only knowing 'Holy Diver.' However, they came out rocking. Entertaining to watch, their guitar player was awesome, and their drummer did a HUGE drum solo that made their set even more worthwhile. I'd go see them again.

Iron Maiden - What band comes out with THREE guitar players? IRON MAIDEN. Their show was just amazing. Bruce was everywhere, reminding me of Yoda in the last Star Wars. The band was tight, playing all the greats from the past twenty-five years, and even a few songs off the new album (due out in September). Eddie was in full effect as well. These guys are right up there with AC/DC and the Adicts on my favorite shows of all time.

Side note - Iron Maiden sold out Madison Sqaure Garden. Not to shabby for a band that doesn't get heavy rotation on commercial radio OR MTV.
