Subject: Camp sites in Great Gulf

Hi,

I am planning a leisurely two night hike around mt wash. I was thinking of parking at Pickham Notch and taking the Old Jackson Road across into the Great Gulf.

- what is the closest camp site to Spaudling Lake? Do I pay someone like I do at Hermit Lake?

- Can I pay for a camp site at Hermit Lake the day before or just the day of? I would like to go over the summit and camp on the 2nd night at Hermit Lake but I am concerned that I might come down late and find it full.
